• Thor in a wedding dress is a magical sight

Salutaria, lads, lasses, and lassos!

Feel free to call me Ash, teller of tales, mythology enthusiast, and the mind who writes for this blog.

By day, I am just another mortal doing mortal things however here, in this tiny niche of the web, I take on the persona of a modern-day minstrel, weaving tales of gods, monsters, and mortals who dared challenge destiny.

I may not be wearing a laurel crown (yet), but I have a deep affection for mythologies from every corner of the old world ,from Mount Olympus to Yggdrasil, from solar deities to tricksters, from divine epics to strange folk-tales narrated around ancient campfires.

I started this blog because one morning I woke up and thought:
“Why not throw myself into the labyrinth of ancient stories, and bring a few fellow wanderers along for the ride?”

So here we are: your tour guide, your storyteller, your moderately nerdy pal on an adventure through tales long buried in dust and centuries.

Now then pour yourself a drink worthy of Valhalla, wrap yourself in a toga, or simply grab a snack: we’re going on a journey, through underworlds and heavens, across oceans and deserts, into the minds of cultures long gone but never truly forgotten.
